| This is a very poor copy of a real Matisse drawing. This Matisse forgery has a buy it now for $18,990.oo. This seller of fakes is one of the worst forgers we have ever seen. His other auction is a Picasso for $1.00 starting bid. This Matisse however is worth at leats $20.oo. |

Hello and welcome to eBayfakes.com. First you must know that we have been members ourselves for over 8 years. This web site is intended to inform, and teach as many people as possibe about how to avoid buying fake art. Not just on ebay, but any where you might decide to purchase a work of art. As we all know, eBay has truly become inudated with every Tom, Dick, and Harry trying their hand at selling fakes. The sad and most disapointing fact of the matter is that these beginner artist's fool a lot of people, and the sales of these forgeries go into the millions each year. Most fakes sell between $200.oo to $8000.oo.
It is also very important to know that there are sellers who sell different items and truly might not know that the piece of art they are selling is fake. We will do the best we can to mention in the caption under the photos if we feel that it is in fact a good seller that just ended up with a dud. Sadly though most fakes that are sold on ebay are in fact sold by sellers who know that the art is fake. We look for patterns in the sellers art.
It is sad how much the sale of art on eBay has changed in recent years. It is our intention to teach you so you do not waste your money.
Some auctions start at one dollar and end up in the thousands. These eBay members that sell fake art, and useless papers have multiple pieces up under multiple accounts at any given moment every day. Our only hope is to protect each other & to learn what is right and what is not. This is a hard task. Many buyers believe they can tell if a piece of art is right by studying books. Very few times this might be possible but most likely not.
We are so confident in our expertice in knowing art that we will give $20,000.oo (USD) to any one who can get a good opinion from I.F.A.R. (International Foundation for Art Research) on any piece of art that we here at EBAYFAKES.COM. say is fake. There will be a limited number of artists covered on this web site. The fake art on this web site will be current. The bottom photos will show ebay art which is currently up for auction. There will be archives but the lowest photos represent the latest daily updates when possible. We here at eBayfakes.com will not reveal the names of the eBay sellers because sellers start new accounts every day . We will only list fake art in the form of photos, and a description of fake labels / papers in hopes that you will get a feel for the scam seller by his works, and useless papers. The descriptions below each photo will describe if the fake art comes with fake labels/ papers as well. It's up to the buyer to see if any of the photos match what they are interested in on eBay. We fully support eBay here at eBayfakes.com. We believe eBay is a great place to find treasures, but one has to be willing to learn, or one throws away money. Money you will never see again.

| Never a Picasso. This is not the way Picasso drew AT ALL. Another cheep Picasso fake from the great ebay seller of fakes. This Picasso was sold and is now for auction by another seller. 12.18.2007. Added 12.30.2007 > (Ebay has ended this auction). The seller of this Picasso fake has been in touch with eBayfakes.com. We will help this good seller get their money back from the forger they bought it from. The seller wanted to just turn it over to make a profit. This is what happens when you buy art by certain artist's that you dont know enough about). NOW, ABOUT THE ART -This very poor fake Picasso just sold on ebay and now is for sale again . IT IS OFFERED WITH A VERY NICE GOLD FRAME. This art is a completely fake Picasso, with worthless papers from Mr. ( I will authenticate anything for 80 bucks.) DANIEL HERSH. This Picasso was made by a forger out of Woodbury , NY. Heres the good part. The seller warns ebay buyers about other appraisals offered on ebay. Yet all papers offered are worthless. Two coa's are offered with this Picasso fake. One from Hersh worth less then the paper its printed on, and the other COA offered is worth nothing. Its from an expert named, "Fabrizio Di Castro, Italy". This is an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN company. All this for only $40,000.oo. Total package value estimate from eBayfakes.com is , $250.oo. Lets not forget that there is NO PROVENANCE OFFERED BECAUSE THE ART WAS MADE THIS YEAR. (2007) |

However, this very colorful drawing is a copy of a Picasso painting done in 1937 Titled" Dora Maar Seated'. Zervos.VIII, P. 331 The real Picasso hanges in the Musee Picasso, Paris, and is a very important motif. This one could fool most ebay buyers who have not seen the painting or who do not take the time to research it. Not by Picasso. |

| The new way of trying to sell pure garbage fakes like this one, is to put up 24 hour auction's. Look out and be very careful of 1 or 3 day auctions. This is getting to be a new way to get sales right away. The starting bid will always be very low. IN this case it is one dollar $1.oo. The scam seller does this so that he can push it up with many shill bids to a good price and then wait. Since eBayfakes.com has started we have seen more and more of these 1 to 3 day auctions. This is without a doubt the worst embarrassing Picasso I have seen on ebay. The seller should really find another means for money. |

| This Chagall Lithograph is being misrepresented as a pastel drawing. Be very aware of this scam. It is totaly misleading on the part of the seller. This is a print and not a pastel, and Chagall very very rarely signed accross litho's with no margins which are in books in this manner. Also, chagall would never sign a pastel like this. |

| Real or Fake ? Stamp in rear fake. unsigned-unnumbered. From what I am told as far as prints go, these Warhol prints can be printed out on wide format lazer printers. |
